  • Why should I hire a Pet Attendant for my wedding?

    • Your wedding is your special day, and it's important to include your family in it! That includes your pets! However, having your pet at your wedding requires a lot of attention, care, and coordination. Rather than taking on that stress yourself or having a loved one focusing on your pet, let me be your pet's plus one! Having a Pet Attendant present will allow you to have a dedicated person tending to your pet's needs and how you want them incorporated in your wedding, so you can focus on your big day or event. 
       

  • Do you work with pets other than dogs? 

    • Yes! While dogs may be the most common pet to include in weddings, not everyone has a dog. Fill out my contact form or send an email to tailsandvows@gmail.com, and we can chat about your furry or feathered friend that want to have at your wedding. ​
       

  • What can I expect when booking a Pet Attendant for my wedding or event? 

    • Free phone consultation to discuss how you want to incorporate your pet into your special day. 

    • In person meet and greet within a 25 mile radius of Beaverton, OR to get to know your pet and ensure your pet’s comfort before the big day. 

    • Planning coordination with you and/or your wedding coordinator to make sure your pet is involved in every part of your day that you want them present for. I’ll create a detailed agenda of what your pet’s day will look like so you know what to expect.  

    • Transportation (with seat belt) to and from your home, hotel, ceremony location, and/or venue. 

    • Daily needs, including food, hydrating, medications, on leash exercising, potty breaks, and basic grooming. 

    • Photos throughout the day to highlight your pet’s day from my perspective. 

    • Care and handling throughout all aspects of your day, including pictures, the ceremony, down time, and the reception/cocktail hour.

    • Lots of love, attention, treats, belly rubs, and boops throughout the event.

    • If including transportation, when it's time to go back home or to the hotel, your pet have their normal routine followed to help them relax and settle in for a good night's rest. 
       

  • Can you assist my pet during the rehearsal dinner?

    • Yes! Please indicate that you are interested in this when contacting or during your consultation, and I can include it in your quote. ​
       

  • What if I have more than one pet I'd like to include in my wedding? 

    • Please indicate that when submitting your inquiry. Depending on the specifics of your pets, their size, and their temperament, additional Pet Attendants may need to be hired for your event. This is to make sure your pets receive the appropriate care and attention on your special day. An fee for additional pets and additional Pet Attendants will be applied.  ​

  • What is your policy for event cancellations, postponements, or rescheduled dates?

    • Things happen! I understand. If your event is cancelled, any money paid will be returned with the exception of the 50% nonrefundable retainer. If your event is postponed or rescheduled, I will do my best to accommodate the new date. 

  • Is there a deposit required to reserve a Pet Attendant for my wedding or event?

    • Yes- there's a 50% nonrefundable retainer due at the time of booking and signing the contract. The other 50% is due 30 days in advance of the event.
